2nd December – Wadhurst vs Rotherfield

The weather was the challenge of the day with high winds and seroius rain. Both teams turned out onto the pitch which was very good considering the weather. Rotherfield soon got into some great flowing football and were rewarded with excellent goals. Jamie Matthew Luke and Jordan all made a great first half performance to leave us 4 - 2 at half time. A brief respite at half time for warm drinks and shelter and then back into the storn for the second half. With the wind (and the rain) behind us Rotherfield continued playing some of thier best football and Jordan even seemed to be enjoying the downpour. Some excellent goals from Sam Matthew Jamie and Lewis (plus two own goals) plus some good goals from Wadhurst took rother field to a 10 - 5 Victory.

A big round of applause to all the boys form both teams for a well played game in difficult conditions.
