14th October – Rotherfield vs Langton Green

So after no game last week we arrived at Langton greens venue to find the pitch double booked - so we all agreed to go back and play at Rotherfield instead.

The early part of the game was played mostly in midfield until Jamie made a good run and scored out first goal. The midfield battle continued until Jordan found the back of the net from an excellent cross in from Jamie. A few minutes later Matthew scored and the team found the confidence they needed. Rotherfield started to play out wide giving Dexter the opportunity to score a great goal lobing the keeper from the left. In the last 5 mins of the first half Jamie scored a further two goals and Lewis scored to make it 7 - 0 at half time.

We were caught sleeping early in the second half and let in a goal but Jamie soon got revenge and the team held a surge from Langton Green without a further loss. The last 15 minutes saw Jordan and Matthew and Lewis get thier second goals of the day and put us into our first double digit victory.
